He may seem strong now—he has the army and everything else—but at some point, a blow will come, and America will reach the point where every country in the world will be bombing it. All the countries of the world will bomb America, and it will become small, as the saints say. Not just one saint predicted this—three of them did. Orthodox saints saw it.
Saint Ephraim of Arizona said that the sea would come within 200 meters of his monastery. Do you know how far that is? His monastery is about 800 kilometers from the sea. So something will happen. What exactly will happen? What can now change the situation and the facts?
I will put it this way: the sin of the world and the will of rulers at this level give rights to the earth. You have heard it—the earth receives rights. It is a living organism. We come from the soil. I do not know how many trillions of cells are coordinated in the human body. We are a living organism, just as the earth is a living organism. And we have seen many times that when sin pollutes and infects the earth… And what is sin? It is the violation of God’s law. Then the earth suffers: cracks appear, explosions happen, earthquakes occur.
I can tell you right now: the earth has received rights from the Holy Spirit, from the Paraclete, and these rights will be manifested at some point. How will they be manifested? Through a great earthquake, through an explosion during a feast day. This will change all the data.
Imagine an earthquake on the San Andreas Fault of magnitude 8–9 on the Richter scale. Then everything changes, and the sea comes within 200 meters of Elder Ephraim’s monastery in Arizona. The data in America will change, of course. Everything will change because California will go underwater.
And California is now the pillar of the American economy. It supports almost all the other states. If it sinks, America will sink with it. Then there will be an aftershock. Do not forget that. There will be a huge aftershock in America, which, if it happens, could cause all of South America to disappear.
Therefore, we must understand: sooner or later, the earth will react. It has received its rights from the Paraclete. Now everything is open to the possibility of a major earthquake, whether it happens here or not.
But know this: Greece will not suffer very much. It will be wounded. It will be wounded because Greece is not better than other countries in terms of sin—it is the same or even worse. But the intercessions and prayers of our saints are protecting it now and will continue to do so. The Virgin Mary has spread her veil. Why? Because she believes in the Greeks, not because of wealth.
We will not go to that city (Constantinople) as conquerors or as former owners. No. We will go as missionaries. We will govern the city the way Constantine the Great did. We will make it a missionary center of Orthodoxy. Hagia Sophia, the churches, and the monasteries will radiate heaven to the whole world. Heaven wants to communicate with us—and it is doing so. Cosmic changes are already taking place. You can see it. The crash will come.
Varoufakis said that bankers in Switzerland admitted that they can no longer hold the system. Two years ago, a major businessman in Greece told his people to have everything prepared by 2026 because a crash was coming. Elder Parthenios also told his spiritual children that a crash was coming.
Saints see events outside of time. Thoughts have no time. Think of Christ, and the thought is already in heaven. That is how the soul works. Saint Porphyrios could be transported. So could others. This is timelessness.
Then a woman told how she received a miracle from Elder Porphyrios. She was a churchgoing woman, she confessed, she took communion, but she had a sin—ecclesiastical pride. She thought she was superior to her husband because he did not go to church. There were arguments in the family. Elder Porphyrios called her by name over the phone and told her to abandon her spiritual pride and obey her husband.
She obeyed. She apologized and submitted to him. He told her not to go to church. She obeyed completely and did not go for two weeks. Then one day her husband woke her up and said, “Get up, get the children ready—we’re going to church.”
From that day on, he and the children remained in the Church.
The elder understood that she had church pride—we think we are spiritually superior to others. That is a mistake.
