This video is worth hearing again.

Among all these tragic things I described which reminds me of the end times. The man does not know who to trust. We organized these ‘Lighters’ [name given to their spiritual meetings] and say these things… Some say they are bold. Why bold? It’s just truthful, unpretentious, without any [hidden] interest, simple. As a matter of fact, I can confess that [purely] on a scale of personal interest, It is not in my interest to be so ‘sharp’ and revealing. I studied law school, and I could act as a lawyer and square the circle. Yet, I would be an unworthy son of holy Fathers. What will I say to Saint Iakovo's [Tsalikis], Tomorrow, will I go up? Huh? A few days ago, a guy who has a demon came. He came for confession. He was quiet … He listens to the demon inside him. But, when we read prayers with some Fathers here, It flared up. A ‘revealing’ demon, it would reveal to you things that you had done 50 years ago and had not confessed to. As we were speaking … this [narration] is a parenthesis. I mocked Satan. “My child, don’t be afraid of Satan. He is an ant,” I said. “Do not give him rights.” “The Fathers [of the Church] say that he is an ant-lion.” If we give him rights, he becomes a lion inside us. But if we repent, he is an ant. With the name of Christ, we step on it and erase it. Right away, the demon he had inside him rebelled. What did the demon tell him? [Demon]: “Tell Neophytos that I will wait for him at the toll-houses, right after his death.” Are you [people] listening? [Demon]: “I will wait for him there.” “We will see whether I am an ant then.” [Morphou]: You know that many theologians and clergy even doubt the existence of toll-houses. The guy told me, “He [the demon] got angry because you called him ‘an ant’” “And he told me that he will wait for you at the toll-houses” “to show you how much of an ant he is.” I said, “Tell him that I am not afraid of him.” “My mother will come find me at the toll-houses,” “My grandmother, Myrofora, will also come.” “So will Saint Evmenios [Saridakis] and Saint Iakovos [Tsalikis].” As soon as he heard the name “Iakovos,” He cries out, “The pickled herring burnt us.” When we have the experience of such holy Fathers and holy Mothers, am I allowed to square the circle [i.e., to make compromises on their faith]? At 60 years old, what am I? A man facing his death. However, from the moment Christ, “[incarnate] of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary” [from The Creed] —I give glory to the great name of the Mother of God— [The Christ] became a perfect God and a perfect man, I have eternal life. My life does not end at 60, 80, or 90 years old. Is it not so? Death is a bridge. And then never-ending life. Heavenly Liturgy! Christ will serve the Liturgy. This is where St. Iakovos will be, where St. Evmenios will be, where St. Paisios will be, where Milia [his mother] and Myrofora [his grandmother] will be. What will I say to them? “I was doing politics [instead of confessing the unalterable truth of the faith]” “and said that homosexuality is ‘a desire that God implanted in men.’” (translator’s note: criticizes an Orthodox Metropolitan in Greece who made this exact statement in 2021) My strict mother will tell me [when she meets him after death], “Shame on you! Is this what I taught you?” I want to say that we have an obligation towards our fathers and mothers. And the fact that we are inside the church instead of Christmas Eve dinners during these days, it is they who put us into the Church. And we have an obligation to confess! A child came to confess these days, a homosexual but a fighter. I told him, “Do you want me to tell you a way to stop this shameful act, little by little?” “Please do!” He said while crying. “Others will tell you to do repentances [i.e., prostrations],” “Others will say do a lot of fast.” “I will tell you two things.” “Do not focus your eye on the male bodies that provoke your temptation.” “Because «ἐκ τοῦ ὁρᾶν τίκτεται τό ἐρᾶν» [Ancient Greek proverb].” [Meaning], from watching, the desire is born. “And secondly, love the confession.” He says, “I got the first one, but I didn’t get the second one.” “Have you not realized the age we live in?” I told him. We live in an age when the mere confession [to people], “No, Christ is not just a teacher.” —A great mystic, as the masons say— “He is the perfect God and the perfect man!” “You are hanging out with friends and you are drinking whiskey,” “You are smoking a cigarette, you are dancing, and such a topic comes up.” You know the religious topics are much in fashion among young people. You will confess the Orthodox stance! Then, St. Maximus the Confessor will come by your side. Who fought for the perfect man and perfect God. She comes and says, “We will have many lovers.” “until we discover the perfect sexual pleasure and enjoyment.” You should say, “I, too, look for lovers of the same sex, but the enjoyment lies elsewhere.” It is the Divine Liturgy. The rest are various ‘Panadol’ and aspirins to quell ‘the calcination’ of the flesh. Right? “St. Mary of Egypt will come by your side, my son.” “As soon as you invoke her [in a time of need],” “because you confessed the Orthodox stance at a difficult time,” “She will rush to your aid so that your eye does not stick on the other bodies.” “And the vision turns into a thought, a desire, an imagination, and most likely, an act.” The kid left overjoyed!
