Following the Fall of Ertogan what the Metropolitan of Morphou said

Some are trying to scare us a lot, and it is Erdoğan and his entourage. An individual of God told me that with all these intimidation tactics he employs, both in the Aegean and in Thrace, and he is also stirring others up in Skopje and here in Cyprus with our own gas. I have one goal: to fill the hearts of the Cypriots and our leaders, I add this, with fear. The one point we, the fearful Christians of this age, will have is the downfall of Erdoğan. Now, what kind of downfall that will be, I don’t know. It could be political or biological; I don't know, but he will fall. This man, being puffed up with arrogance, will be humbled. I have said that our greatest allies in the modern weak Hellenism, so to speak, are our saints that I mentioned before and Erdoğan himself. His arrogance.

Thus, the one point we should expect is that immediately after him, others will take over — Western allies who won't have the vision of the Ottoman Empire. Nothing serious will happen as long as this Erdoğan is alive; this is certain. Serious things will happen when he falls; this is what our modern saints tell us because he will fall, the one who exalts himself will be humbled. When he falls, then the great things will happen; keep this in mind as a sign. But even when great things happen, Cyprus will have great protection, and it will be greater if we utilize these with much prayer and much repentance. Erdoğan will do little; he is a clever man, yes, but he is an arrogant one, and that will lead him to self-destruction. But being clever, he knows how to negotiate, this man. So, he will achieve little in relation to us; a small episode like Imia might happen, and then Erdoğan will fall. After Erdoğan, others will take over in Turkey, politically clumsy pro-Western Kemalists, and they will be the ones to carry out the grand move. But what will happen is that they will spoil their friendship with Russia; they will infuriate Russia, and who has seen the Russian and has not been afraid of him?
